We love bees!
Sustainable beeswax is a key ingredient in our eco-friendly body care products. Our beeswax comes from a local Vermont apiary that is dedicated to supporting bee populations, which is critical both to bees’ survival and to our own food supply. Bees pollinate flowers, which in turn provides us with hundreds of foods—foods we rely upon for our health and well-being. Over the past ten years managed honey bee populations have decreased by 50%! Due to pollution, pesticides, herbicides, disease, and climate change, the stress on bees has led to the decline of their populations.
Since the bees give us their beeswax to make our products, we want to give back to the bees by supporting their habitat and population growth. To that end, Bumble + Spark is committed to supporting bees and all pollinators by donating at least 10% of our profits to organizations that promote the health of pollinators. We will select different organizations to support over time. Please read below to see what else you can do to support bee populations and all pollinators.
